Great article, Jessica! I love your story about Tess's predictions. What a fun technique! Of course you would have a psychic pet. She is learning from the best!
While I have not ever given my cards to any animal to choose from directly and physically, I have done readings for animals, requested by their humans, and with fascinating feedback. One cat grumbled about a lady who came to the house, with a description of said lady. The cat, a boy, whose name was Schrody aka Schroedinger, did not like this lady because....The man was thoughtful. "I know who he is talking about, yeah." A pony complained of loneliness, two had become one he said, and there was barking at night and he didn't like it. His owner said she used to go riding with another lady, but that lady left, and they had stabled their ponies together in the livery. She was never there at night to validate what Mustard was saying via the appearance of The Mo card, but the farm nearby had dogs. A robin had things to say, no validation possible, and a tankful of fish warned of a killer in their midst...before they started disappearing.
Of course, reading for animals is the other side of the story. And how incredible that you found your way into reading their minds, using the Tarot, Katie-Ellen. (And fish).
Did Ms Pixie stay with Ellen Terry at her house in Kent when she was drawing the cards? If so, we can go there when you next visit. It is very very vibey... to the point I actually found it a bit much when I went there years ago, but now I know more about all that I think I will be able to deal with it better. That would be a VERY fun outing.
Smallhythe is wonderful - I would love to go back, Maggie. I went on a Pamela Colman Smith tour before I left England. So also up to Bude. That's a 2026 date.
Thanks Jessica. Adorable. IMHO dogs are the closest thing to spirituality.
Yes, Skye clearly senses things sometimes and I have no clue what it is.
Love this!
I have a toy poodle. And the same color. They are so smart and cool dogs. 🐩

You are too kind, Kyra. Tess waves a paw from Tasmania xx
Love and waves from Canada to you and Tess. xo
