Interesting Jessica! I think with this Supreme Court giving more power to the states it will definately feel like two seperate countries in many places! But we still have more in common than not- lots of ballot initiatives regarding climate won in red and blue states, along with minimum wage ballot initatives. So perhaps we can cooperate on things we agree on and leave each other alone on things we do not.

It sounds like the US is going to go through an intense period of change and challenge before snapping back together- like the world is going through that. And intense periods are always when the most change happens. Climate Emergency repeal and a new world- let's go!

Also eagerly waiting for 19th November and the end of Pluto in Capricorn. There are already rumblings here in the US about missing ballots are people's ballots not being counted. Mercury in retrograde has started (or ended? I can't ever keep track).

This is a hopeful interpretation, and I really hope it's true. Thank you for these thoughts.

Yup, also the states are NOT radically separated on abortion rights. Most Americans support the right to choose, and conservative states like Arizona, Missouri and Nevada passed ballot initiatives expanding those rights. Abortion rights even got a majority of votes in Florida, which was SO red this year. Even the presidential vote came down to economic dissatisfaction and not any huge ideological differences.

Hmmm. This is sad news, but at least, by this telling, there will actually *be* a next election. Some of us have been wondering if we'd even have that.

I'm not doubting this prediction at all, but I'm trying to figure out how such a split would even work, given the U.S. geography. Right now, we have a South--the old Confederacy--completely dominated by this new, brutal, right-wing politics, and a Midwest/Rust Belt (including many of the swing states) that has mostly gone that way as well as of this week. What remain are a few unconnected islands of blue in the Midwest (Illinois, Minnesota), a bit of light blue in the Southwest (that would be New Mexico; I have no faith that Nevada will buck the rightward tide), and blue on both coasts; and even there, many people subscribe to reactionary politics. (I mean, I understand the concept of the pendulum needing to swing back after going too far to the left, but this pendulum swing threatents to take us all back to the 1950s.)

I have my doubts about the Midwestern states holding on--especially Minnesota--and as for California, they swing about every 30 years anyway; remember, California gave us Ronald Reagan.

Are you sure the future isn't just reactionary red from sea to shining sea? An awful sort of unity after all? Will those in the blue states even have the strength to split away, or will everything be mowed under into right-wing autocracy? What a dreadful future for a once-great country.

Also, do you see any "rise from the ashes" prospects after the great split, or is this the end? At this point, I feel America is functionally over already.

Sigh. Obviously, I'm very sad right now, but am working on being able to send love and good intentions even to those who have (in my opinion) dragged us to the dark side. It's hard. Jessica, thank you for all your insights; you've been dead-on this whole time.

Jessica is always dead on in my experience. And many of us kept getting the king or the knight of pentacles, which Harris is not. FWIW.

Very interesting perspectives here! I’m in San Francisco, California and relieved that America didn’t get transformed into San Francisco that would have been the absolute end of the nation.

As a matter of fact, since the election San Francisco is becoming less woke

well that’s all I’ve got

Jessica thank you!! However I'm not surprised about the US. Alot of us are leaving it's division and maybe for the better. As a matter of fact maybe this separation will bring about the change that I s so, so, desperately needed.

Once again, thank you for your expertise in astrology

Very interesting that Project 2025 is being used to radicalise the Left in a similar fashion to QAnon for the Right. Don't ask "Why are the red and black ants Fighting?" - ask - "Who Shook the Glass"

This radicalisation of both sides pre-empts any split. Further, the authoritarianism of the Left will now likely be replaced by the technocracy of the Right.

Well, I’m not a man. You just saw something that for you looks like a name and made incorrect assumption. You are angry and I know how it is to not have a healthy outlet for it. Glad I could be of service to your energy, but now I don’t have any more time for it

Why is living in Tasmania a handicap for astrological predictions for the US?

Well, Jessica did not get the election wrong. Read her features thoroughly and to quote her:

"Where on the internet or in the media have I ever said Kamala Harris would win this election? I said a money man would be in the White House in 2025, and I published it in 2023 and repeated it 11 months ago. Kindly read my website you condescending twerp."

Instead of being an arse why don't you try spending some time learning Astrology, looks like you're a novice with only 2 followers. The pot calling the kettle black?!

You wouldn’t know ‘good’ if it walked up to you and kicked you in the butt.

Btw, spend some time improving your English instead of parroting what others are saying.

Jessica

I just woke up from my first sleep since the election. I remember two years ago, I think, I asked a question on your website, “what will become of my country “, and you first gave the answer that it would be basically two different countries, for the most part north vs. south. That was before Biden’s decline and Harris’ rise. And it seems now that you were spot on. I also recall that earlier this year you thought a man might take it in lieu of a woman. I was not happy and a bit confused but here we are.

I noticed a long time ago that every eighty years we wind up either fighting ourselves or something bigger, which turns out is the Uranus transit. Now thanks to the blipping, blooming media it’s one big mess.

When I consider all of it, I think you predicted correctly. I also have been told it’s so we can have a higher vibration going forward- meaning I think, that for now we are avoiding violence and a more serious split. Yes, I’m worried. But I think we have to let it play out and then eventually we get our precarious balance back. In the meantime we learn to treat each other decently despite differing political beliefs? Can we ?

I did say for the most part. California is another that doesn’t quite fit strictly north or south. Where I live is still a Democrat run state, but still plenty of people feel differently. And I have a lot of extended family out west and south who feel differently than I do. I also think Wisconsin quite a beautiful state, though it’s been about half a blooming century that I’ve seen it.

I lived in the US for 15 years, and at that time, people wrote about all kinds of places from all kinds of perspectives. We're kind of good at that in Tasmania these days too! But you're right, I don't understand what has driven such a great nation to this awful brink. Stay well and be wise.
