I’ve been stunned by all these events and also am in awe of your ability to predict and to walk us through them the way you have. Like countless others of my generation I’ve grown up in the shadow of the Second World War and am numb by all the coverage. Doubtless that is why the world for the most part is coming together to stop Putin, hopefully without having a Third World War. So that the millions who died some eighty years ago won’t have died in vain. When my father was in Berlin with General Patton he felt the same way that Patton did about the Russian leadership. However, my dad also said that the Russian people were very good people with an awful government. He was a quiet and deep Pisces and I think he was right.
