To choose a VP because he’s jovial is scary. I was rooting for Josh Shapiro and if picking your vice president is an explicit testament to how she’ll be as a president, I think Americans should be worried.
You should look at his long record and results. The jovial describes his temperament which has to be a factor. They will work very closely together, making difficult decisions. They need to be on the same page AND get along. Americans are excited, not worried. Relax. He’s a great pick. Shapiro is still young and wants to do more in PA.

Now there is a book out called Jim. Its written from the perspective of the character Jim from Huckleberry Finn. He was the slave in the story.
