Why the June 11 Full Moon is a Partnership Pit Stop

IF YOU WERE BORN WITH THE SUN IN SAGITTARIUS then something has to give with your partner, or the road to a new partner. It begins with the Full Moon at 20 Sagittarius 38, opposite the Sun at 20 Gemini 38.

Adjust for your nearest city, but this Full Moon is exact on Wednesday 11th June at 12.43am in Los Angeles.

What it will do is reflect your partner back to you. Perhaps, the last partner you had. Maybe, a potential partner. And radical change is coming.

This Full Moon is a Full Stop for Sagittarius People.

Why Radical Relationship Change?

For Sagittarians, this Full Moon in their opposite sign of Gemini falls in the Seventh House of marriage, divorce, de facto partnership and separation. It foreshadows Uranus in Gemini, in the same chart sector, which is about radical relationship change. And that starts on July 7th.

Correct. It is commonly about husband and wives, but this horoscope sector is also about working pairs. Expect stormy weather. The kind that makes you feel free, even as the lightning crackles overhead.

Freedom, Independence and Sagittarius

Uranus (with all his many Independence Days) will remain in the Sagittarius partnership zone until May 22, 2033, with a brief exit from November 7, 2025, to April 25, 2026.

What you will experience is upheaval, from July 7th (the kind of upheaval that encourages you and he, or you and she, to find more space).

Then everything goes quiet again from November 7th, then the revolution is back on, from April 25th 2026. It’s stop-start.

What To Expect

Foreshadowed by the Full Moon on June 11th, Sagittarians can expect many years of unexpected, unprecedented change - either with the same partner, or a number of them.

Uranus is all the ‘u’ words. So what is set to unfold with your marriage, for example, is unique, unconventional, utterly unexpected. If you are single, for example, you may fall in love with the last person you expected to be with.

What To Do

Clear a space for all that is new, different and liberating. Try to allow for the universe to deliver what was never expected, nor anticipated.

Being open to change is a good idea. Hanging on to the past is not. The ultimate Uranus transit challenge is to understand that even when the world turns upside-down (which it will) it also sets you free. Any person or situation which would have restricted you long-term may not last.

NASA tells us Uranus is rocky. So can partnerships be, on this cycle. It has a wind speed of 560 miles per hour. A Uranus transit in astrology can feel like a cyclone. The planet has erratic clouds. This phase in your life will also be erratic. Above all else, Uranus in Gemini brings the unpredictable.

Miranda, one of the moons of Uranus, is named for the character in The Tempest. Again, a Uranus transit in your Seventh House of partners can feel like an electrical storm.

New partners (personal or professional) who arrive with Uranus in Gemini, or even just this Full Moon in Gemini, will bring the lightning with them. Expect an exciting, unpredictable, exhilarating relationship. Standard astrological advice is to enable as much freedom for your partner, as for yourself. Wire in the independence.

The Next Generation

One of the other reasons for this radical relationship revolution, is the other triple cycle involved. So, that’s Chiron, Saturn and Neptune all in the Sagittarius parenthood zone.

This is also where we find pregnancy, I.V.F., adoption, fostering, godchildren, stepchildren and (more unusually) professional or voluntary involvements with a younger generation.

This triple cycle suggests experiments, tests of patience and an escape from the real world. It’s complex. And it is there for Sagittarians, right through this stormy Uranus in Gemini cycle too. It looks like 2026 in particular is very new.

Who to Watch

Sagittarian Taylor Swift (13th December) and Travis Kelce (a Libran) seem to be anchored - like her sweater. Yet, Uranus has a reputation for bringing new currents into any partnership which can rock the boat.

Brad Pitt (18th December) has had a few famous storms of his own, with Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie. His current partner is Ines de Ramon.
