How to Manage Finance and Property with Uranus in Opposition.

ONE LOOK AT DONALD AND HIS MAD TARIFFS ON PENGUINS and you just know you are in the ‘What?’ phase of the Uranus in Taurus cycle.

It was always going to be about the world economy turning upside-down in the most peculiar way - and that’s why I have been writing about it since 2018.

In this feature I will tell you when Uranus (the shock, the radical change, the revolution, the storm, the lightning bolt, the freedom, the independence) will directly be in opposition to anything you have in Scorpio at 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 degrees. That is when your horoscope suggests sudden and unexpected polar opposites in your life - about the house, the bank account, the pension or superannuation, the valuables, the business, charity, shares and so on.

What Not To Do

You will have a much more manageable ride with your bank account, house, apartment, business, shares, company - if you understand that this astrology symbol is about ‘the challenge to meet change, with change.’ I would also call this, unfixing what is fixed. (Scorpio is a fixed sign). You need a lot of wiggle room for these oppositions.

Now, this cycle does end. But it’s also really important to know that through the lens of astrology, there is a false dawn. Uranus leaves Taurus in July then returns in November 2025, hanging on until April 2026.

Back to Normal in 2026

From April 2026 the world is back to normal after a long period of unprecedented, unique, unconventional, unexpected changes with all economies. The kind that have affected mortgages and marriages; de facto partnerships and leases; family wills and inheritance; insurance premiums; government benefits; our very employment.

Uranus in Taurus, that 80+ year cycle, started in May 2018 with the blockchain - and it’s ending by 2026 with the final fall-out of Donald’s decisions. Including innocent penguins on Heard and McDonald Islands, who have to gulp down a 10% tariff along with the rest of us.

Looking at 1781 for Clues

The best example I can give you of ‘what not to do’ is 1781. That is when Uranus was discovered. Big clues. Huge signs.

America beat Britain that year, threw out George III, became independent and the known trading world turned upside-down.

The slave trade, so crucial to cotton and sugar, was on the way out from 1781. The Industrial Revolution was coming in. So was the French Revolution.

Anyone who hung on to old leaders, old ways of thinking, old and entrenched atittudes, methods and systems - was a man or woman out of time, from that point. The people who did best, were those who read the room and changed, with ever-changing times. So that’s you.

Your Scorpio Factors and the Eighth House

If you have anything in Scorpio in your Eighth House (Natural House System) then part of you is fixed. You dislike change with the personal, family or relationship set-ups which pull in your bank account or home. Scorpio is a fixed sign.

Yet, the chain of Uranus oppositions, exactly pushing and pulling against your Scorpio factors, asks you to bend, sway and shuffle around. Perhaps, to change the habits of a lifetime - with your husband - with your girlfriend - with your parents. Scorpio rules the intensely personal, extremely complicated side of agreements over (say) pensions and superannuation, or childcare benefits. Be prepared. This will reshape family or partnership bonds. Extended family too (godchildren) and perhaps ties to ex-husbands.

Taurus Factors at 25-29 Degrees

In fact, if either you or your partner have Taurus factors at the degrees I give above, from 25-29, you could be looking at a major difference between his/her values, life budget, ethics, morals, goals - and what binds you two.

It’s the same with family members - children, parents, siblings, godchildren.
