THIS ARIES FULL MOON ON THURSDAY 17th OCTOBER IS ABOUT LOVERS. It’s also about fighters. If you have anything in Libra in your birth chart, then this is a bridge to cross. It’s the same for (say) your old boyfriend or new wife.

An Unusual Libra-Aries Astrology Pattern

I’ve set the chart for Los Angeles, California, which is responsible for more misleading ideas about love and sex, than most places on the planet.

This Full Moon is a trigger. A high number of people you know will become engaged; break up; get back together; divorce, aim pillows at each others’ heads - or just sing Let’s Go To Bed.

Juno is at 24 Libra next to the Sun at 24 Libra. This is about what commitment actually involves. Or once did. Clashing at the other end of the chart is the Moon at 24 Aries, next to Fortuna at 24 Aries.

This is overnight in Los Angeles; it will trigger people in Sydney or London across time zones. Allow more time and space for people you know on Wednesday 16th, Thursday 17th, Friday 18th October.

Aries is about my name, my reputation, my public image (single or married). Libra is about our priorities, our promises to each other, our double act. It’s also about our battle with each other. Sometimes legal. Libra rules the scales.

How This Full Moon Points to Christmas

This Full Moon foreshadows Christmas 2024 when Uranus (freedom, independence, space) moves to 24 Taurus and again, picks up the charts of so many people you know whose relationships are on the line near October 17th. Perhaps you as well.

Christmas and New Year are now-or-never moments for so many people. Do we move in together or just keep the toothbrushes in the drawer? If this is our first Christmas apart, who has the children? Do I want to be single again on New Year’s Eve or am I going to compromise and kiss the one I don’t really want?

Uranus transits arrive out of nowhere, like electrical storms, and suddenly illuminate what is there, like sheets of lightning which turn night to day, for a few seconds. Uranus transits are usually a shock.

When Harry Met Sally?

I set this chart for Hollywood because this Full Moon is basically a sitcom or a romcom. It might be When Harry Met Sally for you - or Brokeback Mountain.

The more factors you have in Libra in the Seventh House, the more time you will need to make choices.

What comes out of this Full Moon will be challenged and changed, in December. The engagement of October is re-examined at Christmas. So is the break-up.
