The Transformation of Home and Family

Scorpio, the first thing to say about your birthday from October 2024 until October and November 2025, is the transformation of home and family.

This has already begun, of course. It just hasn't fully taken hold yet. Your ruler Pluto is in your real-estate, house, apartment, relatives and extended family circle zone for 20 years, starting on 19th November.

Do you have anything in Cancer in your birth chart? If so, you will be astonished at the renovations, property investment, redecoration, house/apartment move or even relocation overseas, which gathers speed in November, December 2024 and January, February 2025.

From the middle of 2025 this becomes the gift that goes on giving, if you do have Cancer factors. Jupiter with all his expansion, improvement and big opportunities will pass by these in your natal chart, also in the same sector - home.

By the middle of 2026, if you are one of the Scorpios with Cancer placements, you will be sitting pretty, if you snapped up some rare chances.

Even if you don't have Cancer factors, or you don't know, it is still true that from your birthday in 2024 until your birthday in 2025, you will be shown how utterly different life is going to be, in terms of where you live, where you come from, and to whom you are related - or live with. Empowerment can be yours if you use willpower.

The End of the Revolution With Partners

The revolution with/for partners that began in 2018 ends in 2025. This may have been the same husband (say) all along, or the same former girlfriend (for example). Perhaps it's been more than one partner.

The partnerships can be professional too, or platonic. But this has clearly been about a duet where the unpredictable was almost predictable. Well, that stops next year.

The whole point of Uranus in the Seventh House is freedom. You are nudged towards a new, exhilarating, liberating, far more independent life. (And sometimes you are shoved there).

Do you have Libra factors in your birth chart? If so, January 2025 is the end of karma with a partner. It goes back 18-19 years and the loop you have been in, ends as 2025 begins.

Enemies, Rivals, Opponents

Well, every Hillary Clinton has her Donald Trump. Who have you had? This may have been a woman who took your man, to quote the old Country and Western songs.

It might have been a professional adversary. Whomever was against you for so many years, Scorpio, is rapidly looking like history from 2025.

Uranus going out of your solar Seventh House marks the end of the rolling electrical storms, shockwaves and upheaval of the past. You have a little way to go, so you still need to be extremely flexible to deal with the lightning bolts in human form - but it's really over soon.

Workload and Wellbeing

2025 is the year that your Sixth House of daily workload and wellbeing (mental and physical health) sees the end of a stuck situation in January 2025 and the start of a completely new cycle.

The North Node leaves Aries and your Sixth House next January. A circuit will finish. As you read this, nothing you do or say, much seems to affect your working day or your wellness, but that stops next January.

Even more importantly, Neptune and Saturn both enter this chart zone in 2025. You will still be in this cycle in 2026, as your next birthday comes around.

Your part-time or full-time job will now challenge you to find a new way to look at a situation which is a dual carriageway. One lane is restricted, blocked, limited and requires a lot of patience. The other lane has no boundaries, offers an escape route, an alternative and a vacation from reality.

You will cross lanes in 2025 and 2026. Finding a way to 'drive' or navigate this is really important.

If you are retired, unemployed, housebound or just have full-time home responsibilities, all of the above applies to your own daily routine, and usual domestic life.

Your health, medical condition, stamina, life force and wellbeing are also in focus now. As you read this, at least until January 2025, the North Node is still in Aries in your Sixth House.

You may long for other people to say or do something different, that will change your situation – or fantasising about some kind of change in your own body, or in your own lifestyle. Astrologically speaking, nothing will lift until this cycle is over. In the meantime, however, you can consciously develop a particular way of managing the ‘stuckness’ which will leave you feeling happier and calmer. 

Chiron in the Sixth House

It's also important to mention Chiron in your Sixth House of work and wellbeing, as he carries on in Aries, in 2025, just as he did in 2024.

You’ll be much more adventurous – even daring – when it comes to your part-time or full-time job now - if you follow your mentor. If you are unemployed, retired or have full-time duties at home, then you’ll find yourself taking a more experimental approach to your daily routine if you are willing to pursue what a maverick is showing you.

I would guess your life has been full of wellbeing, health or lifestyle mavericks in 2023-2024. Chiron ‘clusters’ (when one or more planets are in the same sign and house as Chiron) tend to produce much more important results, of course. At these times, as one of the workers of the world – or even one of the bosses – you are going to testing the boundaries of what is possible, and acceptable. You have this in 2025 as Neptune and Saturn go into Aries.

Your workplace has rules, which in turn are governed by laws. It also has unspoken rules and a general code of acceptability. Even when Chiron is acting alone in your Sixth House, you may find yourself wanting to push hard against the barriers – partly to see if you can have the ego satisfaction of getting away with it, but mostly because you need to find out what you can actually pull off.

Chiron was a Centaur in Greek mythology. He hunted, with a bow and arrow, and taught Achilles courage. It may be a stretch to think of yourself in this way, when you are standing around the office photocopier, but while Chiron is in your Sixth House of work and employment, the ball is in your court. If you put enough preparation time in, you can pull off some surprising things at this time. The fact that bosses, clients, colleagues or professional rivals go into a state of shock and outrage at the same time is just icing on the cake. It's punk.

Remember, if you don’t work, this also applies to your regular lifestyle and routine at home. Is it time to challenge the usual status quo with the nanny, or your non-cooking, non-cleaning partner? Or with the employment office? Now is the time to find out. If you put the work in, your cocksure confidence now may just see you through.

This half-comet, half-asteroid, was discovered in 1977, at a time when test-tube babies were under development, and the human genome project was going ahead in leaps and bounds.

The whole point of this Chiron cycle is experimentation and exploration. For one reason or another, you now need to push yourself harder, so that you can also push back the boundaries of what other people say is realistic. By itself, Chiron is neither good nor bad – it’s just about chutzpah. With Saturn and Neptune alongside, it's really a three lane highway, as well as a dual carriageway. You'll find you switch lanes and approaches all the time.

Financial and Property Opportunities

Scorpio, you also have until May 2025 to keep on taking full advantage of financial and property opportunities. This may pull in business, charity or valuable possessions too. Jupiter is transiting Gemini and your Eighth House.

As your Sun is also in the Eighth House natally (using the Natural House System) you find your self-confidence, identity and ego are bound up with your bank account or assets.

Mortgages, tax, inheritance payments, partnership investments, commission, loans, settlements, debts, joint assets and shared resources (anything from a race horse to a photocopier) come under the rulership of the Eighth House. It's the house you share with your boyfriend, but also the record collection.

It’s about what you own, earn or owe in relation to a second or third party. The Sun in Gemini in May, June 2025 will single out all the important issues for you now, so you have a chance to sort out what (or who) is making you feel confident, and why. By this stage of the year I would expect you to have snapped up a huge chance and be making it pay, in terms of saving or making money.

The Eighth House also rules sexual and financial relationships.  The marriage and the inheritance, for example, or the aftermath of the divorce and the settlement. A new lover who has an obvious salary gap with you. With Jupiter transiting here, you are being given some fantastic solutions and opportunities until May 2025.

It's very much about inheritance, wills and legacies. Patric Walker called this cycle 'Matters of a joint financial nature' which is a polite way of framing it. You'll gain by mid-2025 if you continue to pursue obvious options, Scorpio.

The End of Pluto in Capricorn

The end of a transit matters as much as the start of one. In November 2024, as you read this, you will sign off from years of power and control issues with your brother, sister (or about them). There will no longer be any need to draw on your willpower in order to feel the reins in your hand. (Or to get the upper hand). The long period of necessary self-control ends. There will be a sign-off on December 7th, the final negotiations having been put to rest.

Do you have Gemini factors? This is incredibly important for you as in your natal chart, you have Jupiter with all his solutions in your Third House too. And from mid 2025 Uranus goes in there. So, Scorpio, if you do have Gemini planets (say) this is going to be life-changing for you. A completely new era with or for your sibling. The accent will be on independence from them, or through them, in 2025 for years into the future.

Boundaries, the Bedroom and Young People

The peculiar situation with boundaries (none of them, and then too many of them) that has dominated the bedroom, courtship, your children, godchildren, young relatives - and any Generation Z commitments - ends in 2025.

Saturn and Neptune go out of your solar Fifth House then. I daresay this is reflected in the other big change, which is Uranus going out of your solar Seventh House of partners.

You must have felt as if you were white water rafting at times, or surfing the impossible waves. There is still a little time to go, but once you can see 2026 coming around, you should be able to dismiss this period in your life.

A typical example is a son who marries a woman with no boundaries, who denies you access to your grandson. Everything is all over the place, all the time, everywhere - but you can't get out of a situation or into it.

Scorpio, there are many, many examples of how Neptune and Saturn can show up. You will be pleased to know you don't have long to go with this transit.

Foreigners and Foreign Countries

From the middle of 2025 you will travel more extensively, take up a big new role with foreigners, export on a larger scale or emigrate. You may publish, study or teach abroad, on a far grander scale than previously too.

I daresay the expansion in Artificial Intelligence (AI) will have something to do with this, if you are offered the chance to lecture to foreign students, for example.

Again, I'll quote from my book. Your diary should really be marked at May, June, July 2025 which is when all this starts to demand more time and energy. It will pay off for you.

Education, travel, publishing, spirituality, and a new life in a new place – all of these life options are now on offer to you, for the first time in twelve years.

Of course, you have chances to travel (or study, or reach an audience, or explore your spirit) all the time. But what is unique about this twelve-month period in mid 2025, to mid 2026, is the remarkable way in which a course, trip, book, soul awakening or move can open up your life. It will feel like going from tunnel vision to cinemascope.

The difference between your old knowledge, expectations and hopes, and those which arrive now, will be quite remarkable, as you are about to hit the departure gates (goodbye to your old mindset!) and the arrival lounge (hello, big, brave, more interesting new world!) at the same time. You may leave for a new life in Paris, for example. You may take a new role with an Asian or Islamic country.

The educational process now might be formal, so you may be attending workshops or seminars, or taking evening classes, or making a commitment to a degree course. Alternatively, you will learn in your own way, at your own speed, and this will probably involve much reading in your own time, and a sizeable amount of web surfing or discussion.

If someone turns up now who appears to be a teacher figure, it’s no accident – he or she is here to take you away from everything you knew to be true or ‘real’ before, in order to show you a universe which is bursting with possibility. A lot of people begin their interest in astrology at this time – or in science, or the Kabbalah, or politics. Frequently, a well-disguised guru figure is the catalyst for the change.

An opportunity to travel or move will appear now, as I've said - at a much higher level. You will have to weigh up the cost, in terms of time and money, but once the door is open, you need to go through it before this cycle ends – it is unlikely to appear in quite the same way again.

If you have taken other trips, or made other moves, and found yourself feeling much the same, or thinking in the same old way, then be prepared. It’s not going to be like that, this time round! You may well feel inexperienced and unprepared – ignorant or totally unfamiliar. Nevertheless, the time has come for you to grow and learn, so don’t miss this chance.

Publishing (and associated areas, like the mass media, or the web) is also going to offer you a chance to move forward now. You could touch a great many new faces in a vast range of new places, if this is the case – but you will also learn just as much from them, as you are passing on. The A.I. factors I mentioned will be very real from halfway through 2025.

The Scorpio Summary

The most important stories in your life are always shown by transits of the slow-moving outer planets or nodes, in the same houses of both your natal and solar chart.

This is absolutely about money, property, business, charity and valuables in the first half of 2025 (ongoing now, as you read this in 2024). For all that life continues to be wildly unpredictable, thanks to Uranus in your natal Second House, there is still so much to improve, to gain from, to profit by or save.

November-December 2024 looks like a substantial sign-of with issues involving a brother or sister (perhaps a cousin) for some years. Again this shows in both charts. If you do have Cancer natal chart factors, this will be part of a long overdue improvement in the family which starts for you in mid 2025.

If you have Libra factors, you will really notice the end of a phase in January 2025, with your partner. Perhaps an opponent. The circuit breaks.
